ONE-DAY NATIONAL CONFERENCE
QE II Conference Centre, Westminster

Friday 31st March 2006
Early Bird price until 28th February 2006, so make sure you book early!

If you are involved in sustainable communities, in a professional or voluntary capacity, this conference will be invaluable to you.

Sustainable communities would not be possible without those people and projects who make invaluable contributions to their local communities, day in, day out. “The people of Grange Park live in one of the most deprived parts of the country...But they were determined to do something about it...Thanks to their energy and commitment, they’ve found new security and confidence in the place where they live.”

The Rt Hon John Prescott MP, Deputy Prime Minister,
speaking about the winner of The Deputy Prime Minister’s Award
for Sustainable Communities 2004

Amendment to programme

Unfortunately Jonathan Sadler and Bill Ferris, of SEEDA and Chatham Maritime respectively, will no longer be able to join us at the conference. However we are delighted that Audrey Wedderburn, head of the Local Heritage Initiative will be joining us in their place, to talk about how LHI projects improve sustainability and help bring about general improvements in the local area. Audrey will be speaking at 10.45am.
